questing for a line in the sand

Balancing everything of life of late, seems more of a trick of luck than a matter of skill. Smoke and mirrors than a strong strategy.

Long meeting with a client. Good meeting. Much done today and more ahead. Review on Friday morning. Can't believe that I've been working in design for 6 months. I have to get more experience, or at least more compensation. Doing the same thing doesn't build much.

Went to the gallery and wrote, "We make goliaths of ideas. When do we topple them?" Hope to actually meet with my sculptor instructor this weekend. Been reading about wood carving. Worked on a piece involving bullet casings and wood that I started months ago.

The Coaster Project. I have one mockup for a booklet idea that could be used with posters and a site if needed. Have Megan on board in some design capacity. Rough letters for the NPOs and designers are written. Need to talk with a printer about costs and figure out what to request from places, etc. Probably something that I'll present in the Spring to design students if not in the Fall, depending on how much behind-the-scenes work will be accomplished.

Lots more to do. Talk more later.
